Victoria BC

A pretty quiet day today.  Norm does continue to improve but still not back to normal.

We went for a ride to Oak Bay Marina (a whole 15 minutes away) and then walked to the Oak Bay Village.

We just reached the village when we realized we had been there before and in fact, remembered that there was a British Pub somewhere on that street.  We found it – The Penny Farthing where we had a cup of coffee.

We drove up the coast a little bit before working our way to the Phillips Brewing Company where Norm got some beer and some of the cucumber mint tonic.

We made a stop at the James Bay Market and then a walk along the shore path to see the snow-topped mountains in Washington (Olympic Mountain range).  Temperature-wise the weather was fantastic today and it was good to get outside and walk.

Walkway along the shore.  Unfortunately you can't see that those hills across the water are covered in snow.

I think the cats are totally fine with us now.

Get up, get up now!!!

I'll give you a month to stop stroking my back.

Yikes, almost forgot!!  Rob, Katie and Mac arrived in London and were at Buckingham Palace when the birth of Will & Kate's daughter was announced.  What incredible luck!!

  3. Hi Gerry,
It is always fun to read your blog Jenny.
Great news that Norm is feeling somewhat himself.
